DESCRIPTION

Entagile’s product development team has a couple of summer intern positions for motivated and capable college students to help in the product development effort and obtain real-world IT project experience. You will work with experienced business/IT/financial industry leaders to contribute and learn. You will be expected to work virtually 9 am to 6 pm on weekdays, full emersed in the project work. You will participate in daily scrum meetings and interact with team members and leaders closely. Depending on your role and interest, you can assume the role of a business analyst, data analyst, software developer, software tester, project manager and/or marketing sales specialist. The project will commence in June 2022.

A successful candidate will be self-motivated, a quick learner, and has a can-do attitude. The position is unpaid. However, if a product is developed with a successful commercial outlook, you may get compensated according to your contribution. Nevertheless, getting compensated financially should not be your motivation to pursue this position as product-to-market success if not guaranteed. What you can expect is to get a bona fide corporate IT and finance industry summer intern experience where you have a good story to tell in your future job interview. You will become familiar with and practice the following knowledge and skills:

  • Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC) and the Agile development approach
  • Communication and team working
  • programming, business analysis, data analysis, software testing, business development
  • critical thinking and problem solving
  • Resume writing and job interview

If you impress the project leaders, you may get a return offer for a full-time job.

QUALIFICATION

  • Self-motivated college/graduate students who are willing to go the extra mile
  • Fast learner. Innovative. Optimistic. Persistent.
  • Contribute at least 10 weeks in summer with 9-5 schedule (Remote)
  • CS or other IT background with coding experiences, or
  • Business or other backgrounds with a focus on business development and marketing
