How to land an internship in the U.S.?
You need to start early. As soon as you start your school, you should start preparing to look for internships or part-time working opportunities. Do not be buried in your academic works. Allocate at least 10% of your time on finding internship opportunities. Keep your resumes up to date, go to networking or job events, impress a professor and ask him/her to recommend you. Note down the useful contacts from networking events and follow up with them. Find every opportunity to practice your English and communication skills so you can do well during the interviews.
These all are skills you need to survive and succeed in professional life after you leave school. You need to start practicing them while at school or it will be too late.
