Position Description
In this role, you will work with several financial model applications that are model-centric with a lot of emphases given to analytics, reporting, and financial modeling. Position will be part of an Agile team as an analyst and user acceptance tester on projects to develop and enhance these applications.
Responsibilities:
- Define business requirements by collecting from end users and/or reverse engineering from existing EUC (end user computing) tools such as Excel workbooks.
- Create user test cases and conduct UAT to ensure the requirements are implemented correctly
- Organizing meetings with users and up and down stream systems to collect requirements and coordinate integration testing
- Help in other tasks such as test automation and some development work
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields
- 2+ years of experience working with software in a business analysis and testing capacity
- Familiar with fixed income knowledge such as MBS portfolio pricing and risk management
- Passing of CFA 1 or FRM 1 preferred
- Strong experience with complex Excel and VBA
- Strong SQL experience
- Python or Java experience a plus
- Linux / Unix experience a plus
- Strong at writing business documents and at express complex concept clearly and concisely
- A clear thinker and communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and a fast learner
