Main responsibility is to interface with business users including market room traders and technology team. Collect requirements, break down to implementable user stories, write user stories and acceptance criteria. Work with the developers to implement the user stories and plan and conduct UAT.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in computer science, finance or related field
- 3+ years of experience working in Agile software development in BA and UAT capacity.
- Knowledge of fixed income concepts as well as debt, derivative and investment instruments and their usage
- Not only able to mechanically describe the business process and data flow collected for Debt/Derivative life cycle but able to understand the why
- Proven business analysis and requirements skills as well working on agile teams
- Ability to function independently on projects as well as production support encompassing the full trade life cycle
- Able understand traders and collect requirements
- Strong understanding of technology, including databases, API’s, SQL, PC’s and integration approaches
- Experience with funding and treasury operationsĀ a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with MISYS SUMMIT product a plus
